Just Write

Any writer will tell you, the most difficult part of writing is knowing where to begin. Rather than waiting or worrying about the where to start, “Jump right into the middle of a scene,” recommends Victor Digenti, author of a series of science fiction novels. Any place is a good place to start, as long as you start. You can always rearrange later. Digenti is also a regional director of the Florida Writers Association. His workshop “Great Beginnings: That All-Important First Page” is full of practical advice and exercises for writers of all levels of experience.
